Shipping & Returns


All prices listed are in CAD.
At we do not charge our clients for shipping and handling. We send all our goods using Fed-Ex Overnight service, or Canada XpessPost. Once we confirm your piece to be available, please allow 3-4 days for delivery of your order.

It is very important to note that a signature will be required in order for parcels from Martinus to be delivered. We will email you the Tracking Number of your parcel once it has been dispatched. Please make sure that you are available to sign for the package upon delivery.


Cross-Border shipments are more complex than Canadian orders. However, we are constantly striving to meet our client’s needs. We do offer this option for our International clients. Our invoices come tax free, though your country’s sales taxes might apply upon delivery. Since delivery costs can amount to $120 even $200 in fright and brokerage fees between Canada and Australia, US or Europe for example, $30 of these costs we will cover.

We are listed with Canada Customs as an internationally operating company. Please be aware that Shipping and Receiving Valuables between countries requires Customs Declarations, Shipping Labels, Brokerage and Insurances. In order to avoid hold-ups or unnecessary charges, we need to work together.
Needless to say the same difficulties weigh on both of us in case of a return!


Our commitment to you does not end at delivery. We offer the following services to make a possible return experience as stress-less as possible:

For Martinus as a Canadian Design Company we are delighted to have you as a connoisseur, collector or jewelry customer. We work with our hearts and minds to make outstanding jewelry for you and to give you decades of pleasure in wearing it. If you, for good reason decide not to keep what we designed, we would offer an exchange or future credit within 30 days of your purchase or appropriate refund.

Before returning your jewelry, you will need to contact us at 250 538 1730. The jewelry you return must be presented in saleable condition, accompanied with the original sales invoice and all packaging and certificates. Three things we ask to make sure:

  1. It is our product, unworn, not altered.
  2. We were not asked to make your jewelry to your specifications.
  3. It has not been sized above or below our standard sizes.

We will put all our efforts into to finding mutual agreements even if the three above subjects need additional consideration!

We suggest shipping return-merchandise via insured shipping for tracking purposes. We also recommend that customers request adequate insurance to to safeguard the purchase price of the shipment when returning it. Please understand that any associated shipping costs between you and us cannot be subject to refund. You will be guided through the process if needed!

One last thing as rare as it is; but we will not offer responsibility or reimbursement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled. Please seek insurance!
